About Dr. Iwamoto
Born and Raised in Honolulu Hawaii. He moved to the mainland to attend college at Santa Clara University in California. Once finished there he moved to the middle of the country for Medical School at St Louis University School of Medicine. Following medical school he moved to Las Vegas for his post-graduate training in Surgery and has been here ever since. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and has been honored as a Top Doc in Las Vegas Nevada. He joined Desert West Surgery in 2001. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Doctor Iwamoto has an interest in minimally invasive surgery, as well as venous disease of the lower extremities.
