About Dr. Rogers
Dr. Andrew Rogers completed his undergraduate education at Stanford University in Stanford, California, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology with honors in research from September 2002 through June 2006. He subsequently obtained his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, completing his Doctor of Medicine between August 2008 and May 2012.
Following medical school, Dr. Rogers completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin, from July 2012 through June 2019. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training with a fellowship in Advanced Gastrointestinal Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee, completing this fellowship from August 2019 through July 2020.
Dr. Rogers grew up in Texas and moved to California for undergrad where he attended Stanford University, graduating with honors. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado, and then completed his general surgical training at the University of Wisconsin. From there, he did a fellowship in robotics, bariatrics, and advanced minimally invasive surgery at the University of Tennessee. He has five kids and a very understanding wife. When not working, they like to go camping and hiking. Dr Rogers is a triathlete and has completed an Ironman.
